Project Overview
This project required a smooth payment integration between their website and QuickBooks Payments API. The client faced a critical issue where live payments were not appearing in the QuickBooks dashboard, despite successful transactions in the sandbox environment. The project demanded in-depth troubleshooting of API configurations, endpoint verifications, and permission settings to ensure real-time payment tracking. Moreover, there was a need to investigate whether sandbox transactions could be accessed within the QuickBooks dashboard to streamline testing and validation processes.
The primary objective was to diagnose and resolve payment discrepancies, ensuring all live transactions were accurately recorded in QuickBooks. To achieve this, we meticulously analyzed API configurations, adjusted authentication settings, and verified endpoint responses to align the live system with the sandbox environment. The integration required careful debugging of API responses, authentication tokens, and permission settings to prevent discrepancies. Additionally, we optimized the front-end code to ensure a seamless payment initiation process, enhancing user experience and transaction reliability.
