Project Overview
This project involved developing an e-commerce platform for a sports tech start-up, focusing on optimizing the cart and checkout experience using a headless architecture. The website was built on BigCommerce and integrated with Next.js to enhance performance and flexibility. A key requirement was to implement a smoth and secure payment gateway, with Stripe handling transactions.
The objective was to create a fast, responsive, and scalable e-commerce solution that provided a smooth shopping experience while ensuring secure payment processing. The system needed to support a headless setup, where the frontend was developed separately from the backend to allow for better customization and scalability. The checkout process had to be highly optimized, with a focus on speed and user experience, ensuring minimal friction in the purchasing journey.
